ENDING POVERTY THROUGH EDUCATION
In Kenya, currently it is estimated that there are over 3 million orphans, 47 percent orphaned as a result of HIV and AIDS. The statistics surrounding the rising population and the immense suffering of these children can be overwhelming.
Share Hope is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization dedicated to helping poor and vulnerable children in Kenya
break the cycle of poverty through education.
To serve this mission, Share Hope works with and provides financial resources to St. Mary’s Child Rescue Center & Secondary School located in Nyeri, Kenya. St. Mary’s annually serves 691 young people ages 3-21 with a 95% success rate since 1998 of students graduating from high school and earning a scholarship to college or university to continue their education.
